Team Sponsorship for Turton Tigers

WPL sponsors a number of local charities in Bolton like the Turton Tigers Under 11s Football Team who meet on a Monday night at a local primary school. As a growing business Richard Rowson Managing Director said “it is important for us to give something back to the local community particularly when we know charity funding is usually very tight and our sponsorship means that the team get the right equipment.”

The Turton Tigers have been together since year 1 and the coach John Finnan commented that they have gone from strength to strength. He said “the enjoyment they have with friends is quite priceless and that is the most important thing about the team.”

He continued “The most memorable moments have been watching a team start out as 5 year olds with no idea about football and then developing into a strong team of 10 year olds who all have the drive, passion, team building skills but most of all always have fun and laughter.”
