£30M Project 0fficially Opened Ahead of Schedule

WPL complete a £30 million Multi Storey Car Park (MSCP) in a prime location adjacent to Lincoln Train Station to form a new centralised hub for accessing Lincoln City Centre. The MSCP has been built to bring trade to an already busy City Centre set to rival Britain’s best shopping experiences.

Last week and two months ahead of schedule, the official opening of the first four floors came just in time for the Christmas lights switch-on and will be a great for festive shoppers so that footfall to City Centre businesses will be boosted. There is still some work to be finished but everything will be fully operational over the next few weeks in the build up to the Christmas holiday period.

Lincoln Transport Hub includes a 1,000 space MSCP with elevations featuring WPL’s Decorative Mesh, Alucabond Cladding, uniquely coloured Solar Shading Aerofoil profiles & Aluminium Perforated Rainscreen Panels. These products are all supported by WPL’s Alu-Structure Range of support mullions and transoms to achieve a versatile arrangement of various spans & neat connection detail between components and the building main frame.

The final array of WPL products are all brought together to create an absolutely stunning façade which looks modern, streamlined and built to last using environmentally friendly materials.
